Commissioning

Aventus carry out the commissioning services on all mechanical systems and focuses on setting systems to work to create a comfortable environment for the end user. We are passionate about commissioning, testing, and seeing buildings function to their optimum efficiency. Often commissioning is seen as a onetime hands on exercise at the back end of the construction process, we believe that the commissioning process starts far earlier on in the construction process. Early commissionability and water treatment design reviews are essential to establish the strategy and capture any equipment or material that can enhance the system performance and efficiencies.

To ensure the commissioning process is executed to the standards that we have set and to the expectations of our clients, we spend time with our teams working through the scope in detail and developing a commissioning plan taking our clients through the commissioning process to ensure a soft landing and smooth handover to the client’s maintenance team.

We provide full validations, dilapidation and surveys of all building services investigating the existing performance of plant, physical condition with recommendation for remedial works. With the current impact of COVID on the planet it is important that air hygiene is understood and addressed, we have inhouse capabilities to sample main air handling plan and associated ductwork. Part of taking care of ventilation systems is to measure flow rates and look at control of the systems and how they perform once the building is being used.

Hydraulic services that are not maintained can significantly affect the system performance and life span of the material. The microbiological and the chemical parameters within the water are sensitive without regular monitoring and dosing the systems quickly deteriorate. Aventus are able to provide full sampling analysis and provide recommendations or rectification works.
